Vitae Health Center's founder, Dr. Susan Hodge Mueller, is a family-practice oriented primary health care Naturopathic Doctor (ND).
Naturopathic doctors receive training from a four-year, graduate level accredited naturopathic medical school and must successfully pass extensive postdoctoral board examination (NPLEX) in order to receive a license. Dr. Mueller received more hours of medical school training than an allopathic doctor graduating from Yale University Medical School1.
In addition to an immersive education in general practice, she participated in community outreach helping patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, HIV, and age-related illnesses.
Dr. Mueller's personal goal is to uncover the underlying causes of your health issues and help you remove them when possible rather than suppress them. She treats chronic and acute issues in people of all ages. In addition to being your doctor, she strives to be a teacher, counselor, detective, cheerleader, and confidant.
